Shipping Policy
Standard paid orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 3 business days after payment clears and all required shipping information is received.
The Battery Kit (With Caster) and 6U Battery Kit are available for worldwide delivery. Shipping is free to European Union addresses. Orders delivered outside the European Union that contain either kit have a USD 100 shipping charge.
The USD 100 non-EU shipping charge applies once per order containing a kit, including mixed carts and orders containing both kit types. Review the destination and final shipping charge before approving payment. Import duties and local taxes, if applicable, are not represented as zero by this shipping charge.
Other products receive free shipping at checkout under the general store policy unless a written project quotation states different terms.
Transit times are estimates. Carrier capacity, weather, holidays, remote-area service, and export controls may cause delays.
Customers must provide complete and accurate recipient, address, postal code, phone, and email information.
Returns & Refunds
For standard, non-customized products, request a return within 7 calendar days after documented delivery, unless mandatory local law provides a longer period.
For the Poland-stock Battery Kit (With Caster) and 6U Battery Kit delivered to EU consumers, you may notify us of withdrawal within 14 calendar days after delivery, subject to mandatory-law exceptions. Email zhou@jkbms.net before returning the goods.
Email zhou@jkbms.net before returning an item. Products must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, complete, and safely packed unless the return concerns a verified defect.
Returns are sent back by mail. We do not supply prepaid return labels, so return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer.
Customized, configured, branded, project-engineered, or made-to-order products are non-cancellable and non-returnable after production or procurement begins, except for verified defects or mandatory legal rights.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method after inspection.
Warranty
Supplied battery enclosures, BMS products, and energy storage hardware carry a one-year limited warranty from documented delivery unless a written quotation states otherwise.
The warranty covers verified defects in materials or workmanship under correct installation and use within published specifications.
Incorrect wiring, cell selection, installation, configuration, over-voltage, over-current, water ingress, impact, unauthorized modification, and use outside specifications are excluded.
Energy storage equipment must be installed and commissioned by qualified personnel.
Terms of Sale
Prices are in United States dollars. The final amount and included items are those shown at checkout or in the applicable written quotation.
Battery cells are not included with enclosure kits unless expressly stated.
An order may be reviewed for payment, compatibility, shipping, or description errors before acceptance and dispatch.
A product-specific quotation, signed agreement, approved drawing, specification sheet, or written order confirmation takes priority over these general terms.
Safety
Battery and high-voltage equipment can cause fire, electric shock, arc flash, burns, explosion, and serious injury when incorrectly installed or operated.
Only qualified personnel should assemble cells, configure BMS hardware, commission systems, and work on energized equipment.
Confirm cell dimensions, chemistry, voltage, current, protection devices, insulation, grounding, communication, ventilation, and local electrical requirements before use.
Privacy
Contact and delivery information is used to process orders, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with legal requirements, and arrange payment and shipment.
Customer accounts store your name, email address, password hash, verification records, and session information. Essential secure cookies keep you signed in. Verification and password-reset emails are sent when requested. Passwords are not stored as plain text.
Google and GitHub sign-in are optional. If you choose either provider and authorize access, we receive basic profile and email data, including your provider account identifier, verified email address, profile or display name, and avatar URL when available. We use this information to verify your identity, create and sign in to your customer account, or connect a provider to an existing account only when you explicitly request it. We do not receive your Google or GitHub password and do not request access to private email contents, contacts, or code repositories.
Provider account identifiers, profile details, identity tokens, and related login records are kept in protected customer account storage. OAuth access and refresh tokens, when issued, are encrypted on the server and are not exposed through public pages. Access is restricted to the protected account services and authorized operational access needed to provide the account features you request, protect account security, or comply with legal requirements. We do not sell Google or GitHub login data, share it with advertising platforms, or use it for advertising profiles or AI model training.
Cloudflare provides infrastructure for Google sign-in and processes the authorization exchange on our behalf. This includes the temporary authorization code and returned login tokens. The sign-in service does not send order or delivery records to Cloudflare and does not store login tokens in that service.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy. Google and GitHub process authorization under their own privacy policies. You can withdraw the provider authorization in your Google Account third-party connections or GitHub authorized OAuth application settings. Revoking provider access does not itself delete your JKBMS customer account or order records. To request removal of a linked login identity, account deletion, or correction of account data, contact zhou@jkbms.net. We verify the request before processing it; order and other records that must be retained for legal obligations may remain.
New orders placed while signed in are linked to your account. Guest orders and previous orders are not automatically linked by email. Account pages do not load Google Analytics or third-party page translation.
PayPal processes payment details under its own privacy terms. This website does not store full card details.
With your optional statistics consent, JKBMS records a random browser session, known public entry page, search-source category, presence of Google ad-click markers (not their values), screen-width category, and shopping steps. We do not include your name, email, address, full referrer URL, query strings, IP address, or browser user-agent in these statistics. Anonymous step records are retained for up to 90 days and cleared from the active store on the next statistics request or admin read after expiry; storage limits may remove them earlier.
The random session is stored in sessionStorage only after consent, expires after 24 hours, and is cleared when you withdraw consent or close the tab. A limited source summary may be saved with an order you place after consent; this summary follows the order record retention. Verified payment counts come from server-checked orders, not browser purchase claims. You can reject or withdraw optional statistics in Cookie settings. Google Analytics runs only when configured and accepted.
Optional statistics and Google Ads measurement remain off until you make a choice. Accept all allows both purposes in one click; Reject non-essential cookies turns both off. Manage preferences lets you choose statistics and Google Ads measurement separately and save those choices. Closing the initial notice does not grant consent. Saved choices are respected; previous statistics consent alone does not automatically grant ad measurement. If you allow Google Ads measurement, Google may store advertising cookies and receive validated Google advertising click identifiers, shopping events and verified purchase events (products, amount, currency and transaction number) to attribute purchases to ads. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, delivery addresses, private account pages and unrelated URL parameters are excluded. Advertising personalization and Google signals remain disabled. Withdrawing ad measurement disables advertising consent and clears the advertising cookies owned by this implementation.
