No. It is a standalone active equalizer that transfers energy between cells. A suitable BMS and system protection are still required for overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, temperature and short circuits.
It is the nominal balancing-current class of JK-B5A24S, not the permitted charge or discharge current of the battery pack. Actual current and correction time depend on voltage difference, settings, wiring, temperature and cell condition. It is not a promise of continuous operation at the maximum balancing current.
Before ordering, confirm the minimum and maximum supported series count for the hardware revision being supplied. Provide the chemistry, exact series count, cell capacity, voltage spread and existing BMS model, and verify the matched wiring and settings. Nominal pack voltage or a historical specification alone does not establish compatibility.
