The model name alone is not enough. Send support a photo of the product label and the current hardware and firmware versions. Do not use these files for JK-BD, JK-B1A, JK-B2A, WiFi modules or an unconfirmed JK-PB revision.

Firmware, the phone app and Windows software are different
- BMS firmware: runs on the protection board. It must match the approved model and hardware revision.
- Android / iOS app: runs on the phone. Updating the JK BMS app does not by itself update the board firmware.
- Windows PC software: runs on a computer with a supported interface adapter. Get the PC software and its published checksum, then use the procedure confirmed for the board.
Before an approved firmware update
- Record the full model suffix, hardware revision, current firmware and any fault symptoms.
- Read the release notes and obtain confirmation that the selected file is appropriate.
- Back up the current parameter set and screenshots of battery protection settings.
- Follow the model-specific service procedure for power, connection and load isolation. Do not disconnect power or communications during the update.
- After completion, verify the reported version, cell readings, protection parameters and communication before returning the system to service.
A failed update or an unknown board revision needs support, not trial-and-error flashing. Do not disable battery protections to work around an update problem.
V19, V20 and older firmware requests
A similar version number does not establish compatibility. If your requested version or exact model is absent, request the correct service file with the label photo and existing version. Do not substitute a file from a similar board or assume a downgrade is supported.
Hardware, cables and replacement options
Firmware cannot add a missing physical communication port or change the board's rated current. For a hardware upgrade, compare the actual system requirements first.
